Molded plastic seats in the Metro stop adjacent to the stadium
Yesterday saw our long-awaited trip to Roland Garros to watch the first day of the French Open. The weather was glorious, the grounds were beautiful, the tennis was top notch, and the crowd management was atrocious. Three out of four is not bad. We saw an entire match featuring Sloane Stephens, an American with a fairly high seed, and parts of two other matches. I guess the other headline player we saw was Kei Nishikori, whom we cheered on as he handily defeated hometown favorite Maxime Janvier.
