Not quite sure how to interpret this symbol we saw painted on the sidewalk in Brussels
or this equation we found on the sidewalk in Paris.
I guess we know how Sandy would interpret the first, but I was puzzled by the need for a symbol. The second---I just don't know.

1) We only saw that symbol once. Do you think that means that dogs are not supposed to defecate anywhere else in the city?
