Luxembourg Gardens under a blanket of snow

Paris was quiet this morning.  The roads were nearly empty.  The regular throngs of commuters were largely absent, replaced with smaller numbers, cell phone cameras in hand, enjoying the scene.  The snow started falling yesterday evening, enough to coat cars and bicycles and tables at outdoor cafes.  More snow fell overnight, and it was the thick, sticky kind that coats everything and turns an empty park into a beautiful winter wonderland.  Here are some photos.
